Blink 182 in Spain?

So Let's go!
BLINK FUCKING 182 ARE COMING TO SPAIN FINALLY!!
Ok, in first place we all must calm down because the entire Spanish punkrock scene is on fire! Everyone is freaking out, uploading pictures to social networks and calling each other.
15 minutes ago, I was coming home when Nacho called me to tell me the great new and all of a sudden I was tweting, jumping in my bed and phoning my parents to scream their ears out!
Spain is no longer out of the Blink 182 radar. Spain is supposed to host at least one show this summer.
Let’s tell this in short:
Blink 182 announced their separation in 2005. It was a fucking tragedy as they hadn’t visited too many countries in Europe yet. So most of us have grown up thinking we were never gonna be able to see them in action.
But some years later, the great news started coming out, till today.
In 2009 they reunited again, here the video

With this kickass new, all the fans, the fans around the world jumped, cried, screamed and swore for their mothers that one day they’d get to see Blink 182 live.
In 2011 they released their last album, which, like they said, starts exactly where they had given up 4 years before.
The new album's named Neighborhoods. We have a review about the CD if you want to read it.
And today January 31st of 2012, under18, that has already organized shows like Paramore, Simple plan or sum 41, spreaded the word: BLINK 182, the unholy trinity, are coming to Spain in July (even though we don't know the exaclty date)
We just want to thank u18 for all the fighting and the effort they’ve made.
Blink is really amazing playing live, this is from one of their lastest shows in Las Vegas:

I don’t know what to say, this is probably going to be the show of the year.
The drawback is that the box offices will surely run out of ticks in one minute once they are on sale, but the trade-off is that we are attending one way or another. And with the expectations of meeting new and awesome people.
My last word? --> kdjksrfskjdhfilerushgfkdlzññ
See you, you fuckers!

YELLOWCARD @Apolo [2], Barcelona

Hello there! Neither Nacho nor Miguel are behind this post this time… So, who I am? My name is Laura and I live in Barcelona, and as long as the guys let me, I’ll try to contribute with my reviews from the concerts taking place in this city!

16th December 2011 – Yellowcard @Apolo [2]

For the first time in the band’s history, Ryan Key and the crew were coming to Spain accompanied by Young Guns and Saves The Day. There was a huge expectation given that the tickets had sold out and it was their first show in Spain.
Gates opened at 20h but due to some problems we couldn’t get in till 21h, so we missed Young Guns playing.

Anyway, after Saves The Day’s appearance (gotta say they meant a discovery, must take a listen to their last album ‘Daybreak’), Yellowcard came on stage and madness started with ‘For You And Your Denial’.
With every song, these guys from Jacksonville made the crowd jump, shout and start circle pits and enjoy till the point you couldn’t barely breath.
Their unforgettable tracks like ‘Believe’ or ‘Way Away’ couldn’t be less and came up mixed with songs from their new record ‘When You’re Through Thinking Say Yes’, such as ‘Hang You Up’, ‘Be The Young’ or ‘See Me Smiling’. Special mention to ‘Only One’, which made the crowd weep with emotion.

The sound of Sean Mackin’s violin and the enthusiasm that Ryan Key put on every track filled the stage and the crowd with pure energy and satisfaction.
They proved that, even if Apolo [2] is a way too small auditorium for them and they deserved more than that, they know how to rock the shit out of any situation.

And so the songs kept on coming till the moment Key announced the next and last song: 'Ocean Avenue'.
This hit, that couldn’t be missing, left the crowd more than satisfied and ended with the promise of a forthcoming show in Spain someday.

In my opinion, this was one of the funniest shows I have ever been to. Yellowcard sounds so perfect live that you can’t nearly distinguish their performances from a studio track. There were no technical problems and the crowd was enthusiastic, energetic and a great example of how the punk pop scene enjoys a great concert.

Red Hot Chili Peppers new video, Look around!

The northamericans folk punks have just released a videoclip of their new single "Look around!" from their last record "Im with you", the video shows all the band members in rooms containing things of their own, the video is kind of dizzy and the band is about to release an interactive one in which you can choose which room you want so see. It seems that these guys have found the source of eternal youth, the fact that they've been playing for almost 30 years is crazy and they haven't got worse at all. Check out guys in their early fifties rock out. enjoy it.

Sum 41, still not available to play

The canadian punk-rock band just announced that, due to lead singer and guitarist Deryck Whibley's illness, the band cannot headline the tour they were supposed to lead in the UK with pop punks "New Found Glory". It seems that Deryck sickness has gotten to a point where his life is in risk, as the announcement made by the group declared, though Deryck wants to play, as every good artist nowadays, it is impossible for him to handle such exercise."I feel really terrible about letting down the fans," says Deryck. "I injured my back and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair. So, as much as I wanted to be able to do it, I've got to look at reality, and for the first time I've got to listen to somebody else and not just myself. We're all really upset about this; we've had such a great relationship with our UK fans. We were really looking forward to this tour."
The band has been out of tour for at least 3 months and as time goes on, they cancel tours and dates. This injury in singers back is not doing a big favor to bands last release "Screaming bloody murder" which was supposed to have a huge tour and, though it has already have it, the band wanted it to last more.
However, the main aim of the band and obviously, of the fans, is to keep each of the members healthy and thats why Whibley's recover is very important.
"Kerrang"who manages the tour, have just announce that "The Blackout" will replace Sum 41 in the tour and so on the tour itself is still a kickass tour, whose kick off is the 4th feb, we will keep you informed.
We hope that Sum 41 recovers as soon as possible and can play giant gigs and rebel the world again, best wishes for Deryck.
Here i let you a video of Deryck talking about his back and also about the tour.
