The band has kept up uploading videos from the day they started recording the new album, but, this time, the video is not about the guys playing or even talking about the album. The video shows the band in the backstage at the surprise show they did in halloween.
Its very funny to see how they behave and how they look like. Enjoy:
The post-hardcore band from Florida released their brand new single for their last record, "What separates me from you" just a few days ago, their new single, "2nd sucks" is the third video following the big hit "All i want", and "All signs point to Lauderdale".
This new single is more faithful to the post-hardcore screamo sound of the band, as the previous to are a bit more punk-rocky.
In the video we see the guys playing the song but also taking part in some kind of arcade game.
Here you have the video,i hope you bounce a lot and shake your head!
In other news, last valentine's day, the band offered MTV a little acoustic show, where they recorded the acoustic version of "It's complicated" from their last album. You can obviously see the difference between the two videos im posting here, from screamo to soft acoustic tunes. I think this is what makes the band special, they are able to sing in different ways and thats why their music is so dinamic and shaky!
here you have the acoustic version for "I'ts complicated":
Stay tuned for a review of "What separates me from you", you'll be able to see it soon.
Yes!! they do are reediting one of the biggest albums in the history of punk! "Nevermind the bollocks, here's the Sex Pistols", a deluxe version of the iconic punk album of all time will be remastered thanks to the adquisition of the cd rights by Universal music.
The Sex Pistols, known for changing a whole generation have influenced a lot of bands and have set a new way of behaving, creating music and hell yes, they mainly created the world of punk music!
Here you have the torrent for downloading the album(dont tell anybody)hahahaha, anyway, enjoy punk!
Another video from the guys during their studio recording, i swear i could explain what the video is about but honestly, i just cannot. Here you have it:
The famous indie rockers from Sheffield had just released a new single from their last record "Suck it and see", the single is called "R U Mine?" and the video is quite fun, showing the whole entire band in one and only shot, starting from a car and ending playing in some kind of empty place parking lot.
This guys last album had created a bit of controversy but the brits have known how to manage it, though there have been some criticism to the band, calling them sellouts due to the massive release of music they do.
Anyway, the album is great and represent the band as the new leaders of births indie rock(lastly more rock than indie)taking their sound to a new particular genre. They have been touring for the last 5 months and they do still tour, their show in madrid was total insanity and pureness.
Here you have the video:
The guys from Bristol have not announced it in their page as this show is very private and secret but yes, the kooks will be performing in Madrid the 20th March at a very tiny bar very know in madrid called "el corral de la pacheca", this show has been brought up by the famous brand "beefeater" and their london sessions displayed in Madrid. All of a sudden they released the new and people went crazy, the tickets cannot be bought and can only be given through contest via beefeater itself, and several clubs in Madrid(which in my opinion its quite unfair, nobody is able to go to a club everyday).
Anyway, it seems that this indie brits are going to take a break from they Junk of the heart tour to join this fantastic project brought up by beefeater.
Supporting the kooks, the lucky audience will have Baxter dury, presenting his latest record "Happy soup",. Beefeater has also announced that there will be another guest very well know and claimed by critics.
The show will also be streamed via www.bigbadlondon.com so everybody will be able to watch this fantastic show. I had the chance to see the kooks live last october and i have to say that they do sound better live than in the record, they interact with the audience and you feel very welcomed by the band.
In case we have the dance to go to the show, we ll try to have an interview with the band and ask them about some doubts we, the fans, have, for example, whats the problem with Paul Garred(drummer) and why he hasn't shown up in their last shows.
However, we will keep you updated if any news are given by the band. I let you here the last "Abbey Road Sessions" they did in September. Believe me, this guys are totally taking over the world of indie oak music, so much pureness in their music, hope you like it.
