As we told you in the previous post, green day is updating videos from their studio recording process, the last one they updated shows mike and billie joe talking about how the album is going to be a piece of art, and also we can hear billie talking about a song which is about fucking!!
As we told you in the previous post, the majestic trio is working on a new album and, luckily, they want all of their fans to be updated in every step that they take to reach the end of the recording process, and thats why they've uploaded 4 videos in the past two weeks.
In this videos, we can see that the band is no longer the same band from american idiot and 21st century breakdown, i mean, they do are the same, but don't expect to see more eyeliner or black costumes. In my opinion, the way i see them now is way far better than then, they seem to have gone to a exact reproduction of the dookie era, goofing around and just having fun. So, to sum up all this information, it seems that the east bay punk rockers are going back to their roots, and not only for their costumes and attitude. In one of the videos uploaded, we can hear billie joe talking to Rob Cavallo(producer) about how the album is going to be and what is the direction the band is taking. "There's so much character in those songs that is going to get brought out, its going to be amazing"(Billie Joe), we can also hear some references to new songs in the album, actually, in one of the videos uploaded, there is a clip of Billie Joe talking during one of the secrets shows they made, in the clip, the lead singer of the punk rock trio says that she's finally going to name that mysterious girl we found in "American idiot" called "Whatshername", and in fact, i have to admit that the song stars pretty good so hopefully, the band will release a song off the album in the next months.
All in all, it seems that the band is going in the right direction and taking their musical skills to a new level, we will keep you updated if there is more information.
