Sum 41, still not available to play

The canadian punk-rock band just announced that, due to lead singer and guitarist Deryck Whibley's illness, the band cannot headline the tour they were supposed to lead in the UK with pop punks "New Found Glory". It seems that Deryck sickness has gotten to a point where his life is in risk, as the announcement made by the group declared, though Deryck wants to play, as every good artist nowadays, it is impossible for him to handle such exercise."I feel really terrible about letting down the fans," says Deryck. "I injured my back and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair. So, as much as I wanted to be able to do it, I've got to look at reality, and for the first time I've got to listen to somebody else and not just myself. We're all really upset about this; we've had such a great relationship with our UK fans. We were really looking forward to this tour."
The band has been out of tour for at least 3 months and as time goes on, they cancel tours and dates. This injury in singers back is not doing a big favor to bands last release "Screaming bloody murder" which was supposed to have a huge tour and, though it has already have it, the band wanted it to last more.
However, the main aim of the band and obviously, of the fans, is to keep each of the members healthy and thats why Whibley's recover is very important.
"Kerrang"who manages the tour, have just announce that "The Blackout" will replace Sum 41 in the tour and so on the tour itself is still a kickass tour, whose kick off is the 4th feb, we will keep you informed.
We hope that Sum 41 recovers as soon as possible and can play giant gigs and rebel the world again, best wishes for Deryck.
Here i let you a video of Deryck talking about his back and also about the tour.
