This is the last project of Alkaline Trio 's frontman Skiba, who has joined My Chemical Romance's drummer Jarrod Alexander and AFI's Hunter Burgan on the bass guitar. The band, named "Matt Skiba and the Sekrets", will released their record the 8th May, entitled "Babylon" and Superball Music will be the record company airing it.
The band's sound has been described as a mixed of Alkaline Trio's sound and something in the 80's post-punk style. The record has been produced by the very well known Cameron Webb(30 Seconds to Mars, Social Distortion,Pennywise).
