Since My Chemical Romance didn't visit Madrid during their "world contamination tour" to present their new album "danger days: the true lives of the fabulous killjoys", going to Valencia was a great chance to see the new red haired Gerard way. Moreover, they weren't alone, sum 41, band we had seen the month before was coming with them!
After having lunch and get lost in the city centre, we arrived to the queue. The time we spent there was really cool, people were nice and they shared their booze with us.
The worst part? The entrance was free for everyone, so people that didn't even know who played came: too much too old and too young people that didn't stop complaining about the aggressive manners (truth is: we saw nothing uncommon in this type of events). Once the doors opened, we and 26.000 more people ran to the stage, the 15-metres stage.
During the act of the supporting band: the welcome dinasty, it was fucking raining but we were lucky and it stopped right when sum 41 was gonna start! As usual, the show was unforgettable, despite the musicians had drank a little bit too much. The setlist:
The hell song
We're all to blame
Skumfuk
Motivation
Ove my head
Screaming bloody murder
Metal mayhem
In too deep
Still waiting
Fat lip
We could listen to a mix of their classics and their new songs:

All in all the lights set was excellent and the giant 15-metres screen let all the people enjoy the show don't matter where they were. All this just for free. It looks like Spain is not so dead after all!
